Geography Bowl

Last Saturday was the Geography Bowl.  A few months ago the kids in 4th & 5th grade took a test and those that scored well advanced to the next step and eventually a team was selected to represent our school  John was one of those student picked.

All the schools in town participated.  Each round lasted 20 minutes & consisted of 20 questions.  Our school didn't necessarily finish so great.  Not that any of that really mattered to us as parents.  We were there cheering for them regardless.  Having them participate in the event was reward enough.  The kids had a good experience and learned a lot just being there that day.

 There were 10 students per team.  Only 5 participated at a time, with another 5 alternates that all took turns during the rounds.
