Impact Hunger

We had a neat opportunity to partner with our church to pack meals to be shipped to Nigeria. You can read about the full article with lots of specifics/details that was published in the Register Mail.

I'll admit, it's not exactly how we'd like to spend a Saturday morning.  Especially since this fell on the day after Brianna's slumber party.  Once we got there though and heard the message of hope & how we were helping starving people across the world nothing else mattered.  It was also very neat to see us as a family work together to get something done.  Carmen & Andrew, especially, were very excellent helpers despite their young age.  Yes, our hands got tired and the whole process seemed redundant.  Knowing we were doing our little part to make a difference made it all worth while.
