I already posted about the big Churchill vs. Lombard game. That post and band performance was for the boys team. Now it's was the girls turn. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad weather on the scheduled date and school was cancelled and so was the game. The schools were unable to reschedule to be able to play at the high school. In doing so that meant that band could not play and the teams had to separate. The 7th grade team played over at Lombard, while the 8th grade team played at Churchill. Here is the big half time performance the girls had worked on. They did a great job!
The cheerleading season is now done. Angel did an excellent job. She cheered at every single game. She took the role very seriously and always put on her A game. She had another peer snap at her telling her she cheered too loud!!!! Really?!?! Is that possible? At the last game she was only 1 of 3 girls who even showed up to cheer. Even then, the other 2 behaved like they had somewhere better to be. Angel keep the team spirit alive and kept the cheers coming. It made me so proud that she pushed all the way up to the very end.
